Then, in November I received a glossy publication asking for a donation to TLDH.
I was really glad that I’d already seen their stats, and made the decision that I will only donate to rescue groups, where the animals are already safe, so my hard earned goes to the animals, not the beauracracy. I feel better knowing that my donations are being used as I intend them to be used.
Otherwise I ‘m happy to donate to Oscar’s Law, but that’s a whole other story!

With all the donation dollars they receive they should look at saving and not killing. I am very disappointed in the Lost Dogs Home and I used to donate but have stopped sometime ago due to their happy to kill policy. Lost Dogs Home and all Shelters and Pounds should have the NO KILL POLICY, this law needs to be across Australia. We have no right to take the life of a living animal because it’s been abandoned by a human, it’s barbaric. It’s time Australia joined the civilised world. The Lost Dogs Home and those who run it need to be punished for all those poor dogs and cats they killed. They need new Directors and staff that have compassion and heart.
