My dog Fiona is a staffy x boxer. For the first 3 years of her life, she was used as a puppy breeder, so she’s scared of a lot because she’s never seen it before, NTL she’s never bitten anyone or anything.
I am now in a huge fight with the local council to keep her from being listed as a pit bull. I’m on a disability pension, so I can’t afford an enclosure (the enclosure prices have gone through the roof since this crap started), and she’s never bitten so why muzzle her?
Does this mean that I should also muzzle my assistance dog because there’s a slight possibility he’ll bite? He’s a gshepherd x lab.

There’s no such breed as a pit bull, they’re cross breeds that were originally bred to be aggressive to dogs, NOT to humans. Nobody can blame the ‘pit bull’ for it’s past, the blame should rest firmly on those who created it – THE HUMAN.

I am owned by two young American Staffies who want to love and play with everybody but because of media mania most people are ignorant and cross the road to get away from my “bad dogs”. Others pick up their little dogs who are the ones that are usually the aggressors……..
Blame the deed not the breed!

I own a 17 month old Rottie and if they try to ban them they will have to shoot me first to take him from me or cause such restrictions on him. He is the most loving dog I have ever owned and in no way shape or form dangerous. It makes me so angry that they choose these breeds, what about all the attacks caused by other breeds. The OWNER is the one that should be restricted not the animal… Bring in a license to say you are able to have the honor of owning a dog, stop blaming the animal.

Any dog no matter what breed can bite or attack regardless of breed. It depends on how they are raised and who raises them. I as a dog lover are shocked on who say what is a dangerous animal or not. I think a lot of people need to be watched before they even consider having a dog no matter what the breed is.

i have a mini bull terrier and im always being told by the public that he is a pit bull and shouldnt be out in public. general public need to learn dog breeds before they open their mouths!
